Your journey starts with an initial assessment, a formal diagnosis, and a treatment plan. To get started, you’ll need: a doctor’s referral, certificate of capacity, your claim number, and any relevant employer or insurer.

Common Patient Questions

Do I need a referral?

Yes, you need a valid claim number and insurer approval from your doctor to begin physiotherapy under a workers’ compensation claim.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your doctor’s referral, your certificate of capacity, your claim details and any relevant paperwork for your insurer or employer.

How is my treatment covered?
Once your claim is accepted, your treatment is generally covered by your insurer. We will handle the invoicing process.
What happens if my claim hasn’t been accepted yet?

You can still begin your treatment with us, but you may need to cover the costs yourself until your claim is approved.

Will the physio communicate with my employer?
No, we will only communicate with your support team. This includes your treating doctor, rehabilitation provider and case manager.
